Much of NLP was developed based on the work and techniques of Milton H. Erickson, M.D. Erickson was possibly the greatest psychiatrist that has ever practiced, and certainly the father of modern hypnosis. People often referred to him as a wizard because they could not figure out how he was able to guide people through remarkable healings and breakthroughs when no one else could.Enter Richard Bandler and John Grinder, the developers of NLP, who took on the task of mapping Erickson’s extraordinary talent.

They believed that since everything has a structure, they could model what seemed like magic, learn it, and replicate the results.

Bandler and Grinder were able to model much of the language patterns, and a great deal of the skills and techniques Erickson used in his practice and were able to master in a short time what takes most hypnosis practitioners several years to master.A thorough exploration of these patterns and techniques used to be a standard part of NLP Practitioner training, including extensive skill building. Unfortunately, over the years, as NLP programs have gotten shorter, and much of the training in the world has focused more on technique than skill, much has been lost.
I had read and heard about people who had learned extraordinary skills at NLP trainings like persuasion, conversational hypnosis, and magic like abilities to induce trances. I attended two practitioner trainings from two different institutes and then master practitioner from two different institutes and still so little attention was given to hypnosis and the patterns and techniques Bandler and Grinder had modeled from Erickson.
At about this time I met Dr. Sid Jacobson, Phd., who has been involved with NLP and with Bandler and Grinder since the late 70s, and I bombarded him with questions about the differences between the way.
NLP was taught and how it’s taught now. I didn’t realize I was about to open Pandora’s Box.
It was almost as if Sid had been waiting for someone to ask him to pull back the curtain and reveal the lost secrets that make NLP so powerful.

This workshop is the answerr to the lack of hypnosis in NLP trainings!

We will explore specific classic technique in hypnosis, along with Ericksonian approaches. You will learn to induce hypnotic trances in yourself and others (hypnotic induction). You will also learn what to do once you have yourself or someone else in a trance (hypnotic utilization).

You will learn several useful forms of self hypnosis similar to meditation to create a lifelong practice of guiding yourself to your outcomes and fulfilling your desires.

This course is open to novices and experienced practitioners alike. Everyone will benefit from the course and have new and unique experiences that can create real and lasting change.

Come join us for some fascinating and fun explorations, and some real skill development!
